Verification Guidelines

Integrity Manual

This detailed technical manual provides essential guidelines for verification teams to accurately distinguish official Tikitaka Systems network nodes from unauthorized replicas or mirrors. Adherence to these protocols is paramount for maintaining network integrity and preventing potential compromises.

Verification Protocols for Network Nodes

Verification teams must follow a stringent set of protocols to ascertain the authenticity of any given network node. These protocols encompass cryptographic validation, infrastructure identity checks, and behavioral analysis.

Cryptographic Validation

Verify digital signatures and certificates against established root authorities. All official nodes will present valid, unexpired cryptographic credentials issued by approved Certificate Authorities.

Infrastructure Identity Checks

Cross-reference IP addresses, domain registrations, and autonomous system numbers (ASNs) with the official registry. Discrepancies indicate a potential unauthorized entity.

Behavioral Analysis

Observe node behavior for deviations from expected operational patterns, such as unusual traffic routing, unexpected service responses, or non-standard protocol implementations.

Identifying Unauthorized Replicas

Unauthorized replicas or mirrors often attempt to mimic official nodes but will inevitably exhibit inconsistencies upon thorough technical examination. Key indicators include mismatched DNS records, invalid SSL certificates, and non-compliant service configurations.

DNS Record Discrepancies

Any node claiming to be part of the Tikitaka Systems network must resolve to IP addresses and CNAMEs explicitly listed in our official DNS records. Verify all A, AAAA, and CNAME records.

Invalid or Self-Signed Certificates

Unauthorized nodes frequently use self-signed or improperly issued SSL/TLS certificates. Always validate the certificate chain and issuer against trusted public CAs.

Non-Compliant Service Configurations

Examine service banners, HTTP headers, and exposed ports for configurations that do not align with Tikitaka Systems' documented technical specifications.

Reporting and Escalation

Any suspected unauthorized node or integrity compromise must be immediately reported to the designated technical communication nodes. Prompt action is critical to mitigate potential risks to the infrastructure.
